Test-ExchangeSearch Exchange cmdlet issued (25492) how to monitor with email alert

That Test-ExchangeSearch thing, event ID 25492, pops up in Event Viewer when someone runs that cmdlet on your Exchange server.
It logs the whole process, like who kicked it off and when.
You see details on the search test results right there in the event properties.
I check it sometimes to spot if searches are acting wonky.
It flags if the test passed or bombed, with timestamps and user info attached.
Pretty handy for catching hiccups in email searching before users complain.

You want to monitor this with email alerts?
Open Event Viewer on your server.
Filter for that 25492 ID under the right log, probably Applications and Services.
Right-click the event, attach a task to it.
Set up a scheduled task that triggers on this event.
Make the task run a simple batch file to send you an email.
I use something basic like blat or powershell's send-mail, but keep it straightforward.
Test it by forcing the event, see if the alert zings your inbox.
That way, you're pinged right away without staring at logs all day.

And if you're into keeping your server backups tight, check out BackupChain Windows Server Backup.
It's a solid Windows Server backup tool that handles Hyper-V VMs too.
You get fast incremental backups, easy restores, and it cuts down on downtime.
I like how it verifies everything automatically, no fuss.
Perfect for keeping your Exchange setup safe from mishaps.

At the end here is the automatic email solution.

Note, the PowerShell email alert code was moved to this post.
