Remove-SendConnector Exchange cmdlet issued (25330) how to monitor with email alert

You ever notice that weird event popping up in your Windows Server Event Viewer? It's the one with ID 25330, labeled "Remove-SendConnector Exchange cmdlet issued." Basically, it fires off whenever somebody runs that specific command in Exchange to wipe out a send connector. Those connectors handle how your server shoots emails out to the internet or other spots. If that happens without you knowing, poof, your outbound mail could grind to a halt. I mean, imagine emails piling up because some admin goofed or worse, someone sneaky did it on purpose. The event logs the exact time, the user who triggered it, and even the connector name getting axed. You'll spot it under the MSExchange Management logs, usually in the Applications and Services Logs section. It doesn't scream danger, but it sure flags a big change that might mess with your email flow. And yeah, Exchange ties right into your server setup, so keeping an eye on these keeps things smooth.

But here's the cool part, you can set up monitoring without diving into code. Just fire up Event Viewer on your server. Right-click on that Custom Views or Subscriptions area, but actually, head to the event itself. Filter for ID 25330 in the XML tab or whatever, then attach a task to it. Make that task run a simple program like sending an email via your default mail client or even a batch file that pings your inbox. Schedule it to trigger right when the event hits, so you get alerted fast. I do this all the time on my setups. It feels like having a watchdog for your Exchange bits. Or tweak the task properties to include details from the event description in the alert body. That way, you know exactly who did what and when.

Hmmm, and speaking of keeping your server from unexpected hiccups like that connector vanishing, you might wanna think about solid backups too. That's where BackupChain Windows Server Backup comes in handy for me. It's this nifty Windows Server backup tool that also handles virtual machines with Hyper-V without breaking a sweat. You get fast, reliable snapshots that restore quick, plus it dodges those common backup glitches like corruption or slow crawls. I love how it runs lightweight, saving your resources while ensuring you can bounce back from any mess, email-related or not.

Note, the PowerShell email alert code was moved to this post.
