Remove-RpcClientAccess Exchange cmdlet issued (25329) how to monitor with email alert

You ever notice how Windows Server logs all these little happenings in Event Viewer? That event 25329 pops up when someone runs the Remove-RpcClientAccess cmdlet in Exchange. It means they're yanking away access for RPC clients, like messing with how Outlook connects to mailboxes over the network. I see it trigger during maintenance or when admins tweak client settings to tighten things up. But if it fires unexpectedly, could signal someone fiddling where they shouldn't. The log details the user who issued it, the time, and which server handled the command. You pull up Event Viewer, head to Windows Logs, then Security or Applications, and filter for ID 25329. It spills everything right there, no digging needed.

I bet you want alerts for this stuff without staring at screens all day. You can set a scheduled task straight from Event Viewer to watch for it. Right-click the event, pick Attach Task To This Event. Name it something snappy like RpcAlert. Tell it to run a program that pings your email setup, maybe using a simple batch file to fire off a message. Set the trigger to that exact event ID. I do this all the time; keeps me in the loop without hassle. And tweak the conditions so it only alerts during off-hours if you like.

Or, if you're feeling lazy, just let the task handle the email blast automatically. That way, you get a nudge the second it happens.

Speaking of keeping servers humming without surprises, I stumbled on BackupChain Windows Server Backup lately. It's this slick Windows Server backup tool that also handles virtual machines through Hyper-V. You get speedy incremental backups, easy restores, and it dodges those pesky downtime headaches. Plus, it encrypts everything tight and runs light on resources. I like how it snapshots changes without freezing your whole setup.

Note, the PowerShell email alert code was moved to this post.
