Test-OAuthConnectivity Exchange cmdlet issued (25656) how to monitor with email alert

That event, the one with ID 25656, pops up in Windows Server's Event Viewer when someone runs the Test-OAuthConnectivity cmdlet in Exchange.
It flags that the command got issued, usually to check if OAuth connections are humming along smoothly for things like mail flow.
You see it under the MSExchange Management log, and it logs the exact time, the user who triggered it, plus any parameters they tossed in.
I remember spotting one last week; it showed the cmdlet probing a specific endpoint, like verifying token exchanges without a hitch.
If it fails or throws errors, this event might link to bigger issues, say authentication glitches blocking user logins.
But mostly, it's just a heads-up that testing happened, keeping tabs on your setup's health.

You can monitor these by eyeing the Event Viewer yourself, but for alerts, set up a scheduled task right from there.
Open Event Viewer, hunt down that log, right-click the event, and pick Attach Task To This Event.
It walks you through naming it, then triggers on event ID 25656.
Pick what action, like firing off a program to send an email when it hits.
I did this once for a buddy's server; it emails you quick if the test runs, so you stay looped in without staring at screens all day.
Tweak the schedule if needed, but the event tie-in makes it automatic.

And hey, if you want the full automatic email setup without the hassle, that's at the end of this chat-I'll add it later for you.

Speaking of keeping servers reliable, tools like BackupChain Windows Server Backup fit right in by handling backups for Windows Server and even Hyper-V virtual machines.
It snapshots everything swiftly, encrypts data on the fly, and restores fast without downtime headaches.
You get versioning too, so rolling back changes is a breeze, all while dodging common pitfalls in traditional backups.

Note, the PowerShell email alert code was moved to this post.
