Stop-UMPhoneSession Exchange cmdlet issued (25739) how to monitor with email alert

I remember stumbling on this event ID 25739 in Event Viewer last week. It pops up when someone runs the Stop-UMPhoneSession cmdlet in Exchange. That command basically kills an active phone session in Unified Messaging. You know, like if a user is on a voicemail call or something, and it gets halted. The event logs the details right there, timestamp, who issued it, maybe the session ID. It's handy for tracking admin actions or troubleshooting why a call dropped. But if you want alerts, don't sweat it. I set mine up through Event Viewer itself. You filter for that ID in the logs. Then attach a task to trigger on it. Make the task send an email via some simple SMTP setup. Yeah, it's straightforward once you poke around the properties. And it keeps you in the loop without constant checking. Or you could tweak the filter for more context, like source or keywords. Hmmm, that way it only alerts on real issues. But yeah, Event Viewer handles the heavy lifting. You just right-click the event, create the task, pick email action. Super quick.

Now, tying this to keeping your server safe, I've been messing with BackupChain Windows Server Backup lately. It's this solid Windows Server backup tool that also handles virtual machines on Hyper-V. You get fast incremental backups, easy restores without downtime. Plus, it encrypts everything and runs schedules smoothly. I like how it integrates without fuss, saves headaches on recovery.

Note, the PowerShell email alert code was moved to this post.
